  Lovely old fashioned pub offering traditional pub fayre. My wife and I both chose the Ploughmans lunch bit were a little surprised that we had to choose between cheese, ham and pork pie or pay £1.50 for each extra item - in our experience a ploughmans usually comes with ham and cheese as standard, often with a chunk of pie too. The salad was good (we had ham and cheese as they'd run out of pies) although i would have liked the bread to be crusty and/or warm rather than soft and cold.
